Orion is partnered with an innovative fast paced manufacturing company based in the Wirral who are looking for a highly experienced Production Manager to join the team.

Shifts: Monday to Friday, onsite only (no hybrid) 07:00 – 16:00

Production Manager Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily production to maximise efficiency, output, and profitability; support engineers and resolve issues promptly.
  • Plan and control production schedules, allocate tasks, approve overtime, and ensure resources meet demand.
  • Act as the primary contact for our on-site customer, fostering strong collaboration.
  • Track and analyse production data; prepare daily, monthly, and financial reports for management.
  • Lead and develop the production team through recruitment, training, performance reviews, and shift planning.
  • Drive continuous improvement by reducing downtime, cutting waste, and maintaining quality standards.
  • Enforce health, safety, and environmental compliance, ensuring a clean and safe workplace.
  • Keep policies and procedures current, clearly communicated, and consistently applied across all shifts.

 

Production Manager Required Experience:

  • Manage daily production to maximise efficiency, output, and profitability; support engineers and resolve process issues promptly.
