The ideal Cover Supervisor will have strong behaviour management experience and an understanding of a variety of subjects taught at secondary level. This is a flexible role where you can pick the days of work that suit you.

What you'll be doing as a Cover Supervisor

Preparing the classroom for lessons and delivering a variety of work prepared by the absent class teacher
Maintain classroom control
Engage learners with both classroom and lab-based activities
Be flexible, think on your feet and show an enthusiasm for a variety of subjects
Work in accordance to the school's behaviour management policies

What you'll need to be a successful Cover Supervisor

At least 3 months experience working with children
Ideally, be educated to a degree level
References covering the last two years
Hold a current Enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one
The right to work in the UK
