This exciting opportunity has arisen following the government's recent increase in childcare allowance, enabling more families to access early years education and prompting schools to expand their nursery provision.
Your new role
As a Nursery Assistant, you'll support the delivery of high-quality care and learning experiences for children aged 0-5. You'll work closely with experienced staff to create a nurturing, stimulating environment where every child can thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning and delivering engaging activities aligned with the EYFS framework
- Support children's emotional, social, and educational development
- Maintain a safe and clean learning environment
- Build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
What you'll need to succeed
Requirements:
- A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years
- Previous experience in a nursery or early years setting (preferred)
- A genuine passion for working with young children
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
