About the Role

We're seeking a passionate, creative, and resilient Art Teacher to join the KS4 team. This role requires someone who can adapt lessons to meet the needs of students with SEMH, and foster a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment.

Key responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, accessible art lessons tailored to individual needs
  • Inspire creativity through a range of media, from traditional techniques to digital art
  • Confidently manage challenging behaviour while maintaining a calm and supportive classroom
  • Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and pastoral staff to provide wrap-around support
  • Contribute to school-wide creative projects and enrichment activities


About You

We'd love to hear from you if you:

  • Hold QTS or equivalent teaching qualification (Art specialism preferred)
  • Have experience teaching KS4 students, ideally within a special or SEMH setting
  • Are resilient, adaptable, and confident in managing challenging behaviour
  • Value inclusion, creativity, and personal development as much as academic achievement
  • Believe in the power of art to support emotional wellbeing, self-expression, and personal growth
