English Teacher | The Wirral Peninsula

We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic English Teachers to join our schools in and across Wirral. This role is perfect for a teacher who is passionate about delivering high-quality English education and nurturing student's critical thinking skills. You will be teaching a range of abilities, from Key Stage 3 foundational skills through to challenging GCSE work, and will have the opportunity to work within a collaborative and forward-thinking department. NQTs are welcome to apply and will receive a comprehensive induction programme.

This includes Birkenhead and its inner suburbs (CH41-CH43), the northern coastal areas of Wallasey and New Brighton (CH44-CH46), the popular western towns like Hoylake and West Kirby (CH47-CH49), and the southern communities of Heswall and Bebington (CH60-CH63).We offer a competitive daily rate of £150 - £220 per day, depending on experience.

Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Innovative Lesson Planning: Design and deliver creative and impactful lessons that challenge and inspire students.
  • Effective Assessment: Use a range of assessment methods to track student progress and inform future teaching.
  • Collaborative Working: Work closely with colleagues in the English department to share best practice and develop departmental resources.
  • Marking & Reporting: Mark works to a high standard, providing detailed feedback that helps students improve.
  • Pastoral Responsibilities: Act as a form tutor, providing pastoral support and guidance to a group of students.
