Randstad Education is partnering with specialist schools in the Wirral area to recruit a dedicated and confident SEN Teacher to start as soon as possible. This role is full-time and term-time only, with the potential for a permanent position for the right candidate.

About the Role:

As a SEN Teacher, you will work with children and young people with a variety of Special Educational Needs, including Complex Learning Difficulties (CLD), Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), ADHD, and Autism. Your responsibilities will include:

- Delivering engaging lessons across a range of classes tailored to individual needs.

- Planning, preparing, and delivering lessons based on the P Scales curriculum.

- Building positive relationships with students to foster a supportive learning environment.

- Employing creative and resilient approaches to manage classroom behavior effectively.

- Supporting students with personal care as needed.

- Very competitive rates of pay with no hidden deductions, which are fully compliant under the agency workers regulations (AWR,2011)

What We're Looking For:

- Previous experience working with SEN pupils in a school setting is desirable but not essential.

- A patient, passionate, and professional approach to teaching.

- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.

- A strong work ethic and a positive attitude.

- Immediate availability for a full-time role.
