Role Summary

In this role as a SEN Teacher, you will deliver tailored and inclusive lessons to children and young people with a range of additional learning needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, Severe and Profound Learning Difficulties (SLD/PMLD), and Complex Learning Needs (CLD).

Your Responsibilities

  • Teach a range of differentiated lessons designed to meet each student's specific educational needs.
  • Create and implement lesson plans that align with the P Scales framework.
  • Develop strong relationships with students to build trust and encourage engagement.
  • Utilise creative and flexible strategies to maintain a positive and productive classroom.
  • Provide assistance with student's personal care routines when necessary.

Key Requirements

  • You must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Eligibility to work in the UK is mandatory (sponsorship is not available for this role).
  • You must have a current Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be prepared to apply for one.
  • Essential prior experience supporting SEN pupils in UK schools.
  • Excellent behaviour management and communication skills.
  • You must be able to work Monday to Friday, from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM.
