Search are currently recruiting for a number of HGV Class 1 night drivers to work on behalf of our prestigious client based in Knowsley. This is double manned store deliveries with start times between (Apply online only). You will be going out with a drivers mate & are expected to assist with the unloading at site. This is ongoing Sunday to Thursday work with the possibility of a full time contract.
Pay rates PAYE
* 16.00/h days
* 19.00/h nights
* 21.00/h Saturday
* 23.00/h Sunday
Pay rates PAYE (inc. holiday pay):
* 17.93/h days
* 21.23/h nights
* 23.53/h Saturday
* 25.77/h Sunday
Key Responsibilities:
* Safely operate Class 1 vehicles.
* Conduct depot deliveries and collections, ensuring timely and efficient service.
* Secure loads properly to prevent shifting or damage during transport.
* Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any issues promptly.
* Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and other team members.
* Assist with loading and unloading of goods when necessary.
Requirements:
* Valid Class 1 (C+E) driving license, CPC, Tacho card. Please note you need to have held your licence for a minimum of 12 month.
* Experience in store deliveries is preferred
