Our Client, Knowsley council is seeking a Children’s Team Manager to join their Care for Young People Team.

Responsibilities of this role:

  • Lead and manage a team delivering high-quality care and support to vulnerable children and young people.
  • Oversee complex cases, ensuring effective care planning, risk management, and timely interventions.
  • Provide supervision, guidance, and professional development to team members.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory responsibilities, safeguarding procedures, and organisational policies.
  • Promote multi-agency collaboration to improve outcomes for children and families.
  • Monitor performance, quality assurance, and service delivery standards.
  • Contribute to strategic planning and service development within the care for young people framework.
  • Represent the team in panels, reviews, and partnership meetings.

Requirements of this role:

  • Must be a Qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England.
  • Must have minimum of 3 year's experience working as a Qualified social worker
