Our Client, Knowsley council is seeking a Children’s Social Worker to join their CP Team.

Responsibilities of this role:

  • Safeguard and promote the welfare of children at risk of harm.
  • Undertake assessments and investigations in line with statutory child protection procedures.
  • Develop and implement child protection plans in collaboration with families and professionals.
  • Attend and contribute to strategy discussions, case conferences, and court proceedings.
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential records in accordance with legal and policy frameworks.
  • Work closely with multi-agency partners to ensure coordinated and effective interventions.
  • Provide support and guidance to families to reduce risk and improve outcomes.
  • Participate in service development, audits, and continuous improvement activities.

Requirements of this role:

  • Must be a Qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England.
  • Must have minimum of 3 year's experience working as a Qualified social worker
