About the Role
We are looking for a caring and committed SEN Teacher to join a friendly SEN primary school in Knowsley. The role involves teaching and supporting children with a range of special educational needs, helping them to enjoy learning and reach their potential.
Main Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver lessons that meet the needs of children with SEN.
- Adapt learning activities and resources to make sure all pupils can take part.
- Work closely with teaching assistants and support staff.
- Support children's social and emotional development as well as their learning.
- Communicate regularly with parents and carers about progress and next steps.
About You
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
- Experience of working with children who have special educational needs (in a mainstream or SEN setting).
- A positive, patient, and flexible approach.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
- A genuine passion for supporting children to succeed.
