About the role: As an Apprentice Maintenance Technician, you'll play a key role in supporting the factory's production operations. You'll learn how to maintain and improve equipment, respond to breakdowns, and contribute to continuous improvement projects. Your training will include:
- Assisting with planned maintenance and logging tasks
- Learning to diagnose and fix faults
- Supporting equipment upgrades and installations
- Promoting a safe and efficient working environment
- Gaining practical skills in pumps, motors, relays, panels, and lighting
What you'll need to apply:
- GCSEs at grade C or above in Maths and English
- A hands-on approach and previous experience in DIY or maintenance tasks
- A willingness to learn and develop new skills, and undertake a three-year NVQ course, while attending the factory during holidays.
- Previous experience working in the engineering, manufacturing or construction industries.
