Overview

Interaction Recruitment is seeking a skilled Coded TIG Welder Fabricator (Stainless TIG) to join our client’s growing team on a PERMANENT basis. In this role, you’ll carry out high-quality fabrication and welding of stainless steel pipework and associated components, working from detailed drawings. The position is predominantly workshop-based, with occasional travel to customer sites as required.

Key Responsibilities

Produce high-quality fabrication and welding of stainless steel pipework and components

Work confidently from drawings, P&IDs, and technical specifications

Operate mainly within the workshop, with some site-based work

Contribute to the delivery of renewable energy heating solutions

Requirements

Essential:

Valid coding for stainless steel TIG welding

Minimum 5 years’ fabrication experience, including the ability to work independently from drawings

Strong pipework background, including Sch10/40 and thin-walled 304 & 316 stainless steel

Experience with purge welding

Full UK driving licence

Willingness to travel and work away when required

Desirable:

Experience with gas or heating pipework systems

Pipefitting abilities (flanges, valves, pumps)
