A leading manufacturing business in Blackburn is seeking a commercially focused Management Accountant to join their finance team and play a critical role in driving performance, accuracy, and insight across operations.Key Responsibilities:* Produce monthly management accounts with analysis and commentary* Support budgeting and forecasting cycles* Perform variance analysis (actual vs. budget/forecast)* Partner with operational teams to interpret financial data and influence decision-making* Cost accounting and inventory management reporting* Maintain and develop product costing models* Reconcile balance sheets and maintain financial controls* Use SAP for reporting, data extraction, and system improvements* Assist in year-end audit processes and compliance requirements
Requirements:* Qualified or part-qualified (CIMA/ACCA/ACA)* Experience as a Management Accountant in a manufacturing environment (desirable)* Strong SAP experience (desirable)* Excellent analytical, Excel, and communication skills* Commercial mindset and ability to liaise across functions* Strong attention to detail with the ability to meet tight deadlines
