Job Title: Learning Assessor

Salary: 26,000 - 32,000 (dependent on qualifications and experience)

About The School
The school is part of an SEN Trust and is one of the UK's largest providers of specialist education and care for children, young people, and adults with SEND. With over 1,200 individuals supported across 27 services and more than 1,500 staff, they are committed to empowering lives and growing a skilled, compassionate workforce.
As they expand, they are looking for a Learning Assessor to join our internal training team. This role plays a key part in supporting the development of our predominantly Teaching Assistant workforce, especially across our Northern schools.
About the Role
This hybrid position involves supporting our staff to gain nationally recognised qualifications. You'll split your time between remote working and on-site visits (approximately two days per week) at their Northern England schools.

Key Responsibilities
- Support staff through structured learning and assessment activities
- Plan and deliver high-quality learning via workshops (in-person and online)
- Create engaging learning resources aligned to national standards
- Assess learner performance and provide constructive feedback
- Keep accurate records of learner progress in line with regulatory requirements
- Participate in and lead standardisation and quality assurance activities
- Work collaboratively with training and school teams to ensure learner success
What We're Looking For
- Experience in an educational setting (school or college)
- Level 3 qualification or higher in Education or a related field
- A1/TAQA Assessor qualification (or equivalent)
- PTLLS (or willingness to work towards)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational and time-management abilities
- Comfortable using IT systems (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
- Able to travel to the schools in the Trust based in the North of England
