Class 2 Driver

We are currently looking for Ad-Hoc Class 2 Drivers in the Preston area.

Responsibilities

• Operate Class 2 HGV vehicles in compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
• Load and unload goods safely, ensuring proper securing of cargo for transport.
• Plan routes effectively to optimise delivery schedules and minimise delays.
• Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is safe and roadworthy.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents that occur during transport.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery status and any potential issues.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving.

Experience

• Class 2 License
• CPC
• Taco
