Are you passionate about making a lasting difference in the lives of young people? We're seeking a dedicated Team Leader to join our residential children's home in the beautiful Ribchester countryside.
Why Join Us?Our residential home is situated on over 20 acres of scenic countryside, offering a therapeutic and inspiring environment for both staff and children. We support young people aged 8 to 18 with complex needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD), through an integrated approach combining education, care, and clinical support.
Your Role as Team Leader:As a Team Leader, you will play a crucial role in leading a team of care professionals, providing high-quality, person-centred care in line with The Children's Home Regulations 2015 and Quality Standards. You'll ensure the physical, emotional, and developmental needs of each child are met in a safe and nurturing setting.
Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and mentor care staff, fostering a supportive team culture.

Oversee daily operations, ensuring consistent, high-quality care.

Plan and lead engaging activities tailored to each young person's needs.

Conduct supervisions, appraisals, and staff development sessions.

Collaborate closely with education, clinical, and therapeutic teams.

Essential: Level 3 RQF Diploma for the Children and Young People's Workforce (or equivalent).

Proven leadership experience in a residential or educational setting.

Experience supporting young people with SEND and/or learning disabilities.

Strong understanding of safeguarding and regulatory compliance.

Excellent communication, mentoring, and team management skills.
