  • Conduct comprehensive building surveys and assessments to ensure compliance with building codes and regulations.
  • Provide expert advice on building services and maintenance to enhance operational efficiency and safety.
  • Develop and implement maintenance strategies to prolong the lifespan of building structures and systems.
  • Coordinate with various stakeholders, including contractors and local authorities, to facilitate building projects and maintenance activities.
  • Prepare detailed reports on building conditions, identifying potential risks and recommending remedial actions.
  • Ensure all building services and maintenance activities adhere to health and safety standards.
  • Manage budgets and resources effectively to optimize building maintenance operations.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technological advancements in building services.
Person Specification
  • Proven experience in building surveying, with a strong focus on building services and maintenance.
  • Excellent understanding of building regulations, codes, and compliance requirements.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex building issues.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients, contractors, and team members.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficient in using relevant software and tools for building surveys and reporting.
  • Valid driving licence and access to a business-insured vehicle for site visits.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and staying abreast of industry advancements.
