I'm recruiting for an established multi-disciplinary consultancy with a strong reputation across architecture, planning, and surveying. They're looking to appoint a Chartered Building Surveyor to join their team and support a growing portfolio of work across sectors including education, healthcare, commercial, and heritage.

A bit about the role

  • This is a hands-on role suited to someone confident managing projects from initial survey through to completion. You'll be involved in:
  • Building surveys, defect diagnosis, and condition reports
  • Preparing specifications and overseeing refurbishment projects
  • Contract administration and project management
  • Advising on dilapidations, compliance, and maintenance strategies
  • Supporting planning and heritage-related applications

About You

  • You'll be MRICS qualified with a solid grounding in professional and project-based work. Key requirements include:
  • Experience across a range of property types and sectors
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • Comfortable working independently and within a team
  • Full UK driving licence
