Pipefitter

We are looking for a Pipefitter for our client on a project based at Springfield Fuels, Preston.

Hourly Rate: £24.92 (plus £2.00ph barrier payment on all hours)
Pay Type: CIS
(PAYE rates available upon request)

Hours: 38.5hrs per week (Monday - Friday)
Monday –Thursday 07:30–16:30
Friday 07:30–12:15

Project:
Pipefitters undertake general mechanical maintenance, including the removal, replacement, and reconfiguration of valves and associated pipework within buildings.

Experience required:
The successful candidates will need to have a demonstrated background working on Nuclear or Oil & Gas heavy industrial fabrication projects. 
You also must be an experienced Pipefitter with NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in a relevant pipefitting discipline. 

Welding expereince is desireable. 

Clearance:
You must be willing to obtain BPSS clearance, this will be processed on your behalf but does require a level of paperwork from the contractor to be completed. This process can take up to 4-6 weeks, and must be in place before a start. 
The time is dependent on the response rates with documents and IDs. You will be required to provide 3 years worth of references, and personal references for any gaps in employment.
