Are you passionate about helping young children overcome social, emotional, and behavioural barriers to learning? Fantastic SEMH provision's in Lancashire are looking for a dedicated SEMH Teaching Assistant to join their team on a long-term basis.
This is a rewarding role supporting pupils in primary and secondary schools with SEMH needs, many of whom require consistent emotional support and structure throughout their day.
Key Responsibilities:-
Supporting pupils 1:1 or in small groups with emotional regulation and learning tasks

Implementing behaviour plans and using positive reinforcement strategies

Assisting with classroom routines and creating a safe, nurturing environment

Collaborating with teachers, SENCOs, and external agencies

Experience working in a primary or SEMH setting is essential

Confident managing challenging behaviour with empathy and consistency

A calm, caring, and proactive approach

Driving licence and access to a vehicle is desirable for travel to nearby sites

Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
