Your new companyYou will be working for an established multidisciplinary Building Consultancy based in Lancashire. The firm has grown providing professional services in Project Management, Architecture, Building Surveying, Quantity Surveying and Principal Designer, and through its comprehensive multi-disciplinary approach has built up a diverse and prestigious client base. The firm prides itself on its ethos of delivering both quality and a first-class hands-on service. Every project is treated with an equal level of importance; this level of service is reflected in the significant number of repeat instructions which are received from the existing client base.Your new roleAs an MRICS Building Surveyor, you will be joining the business as Associate Partner / Partner Level to hopefully help lead the dynamic team.This role offers an excellent opportunity for an individual to ultimately progress to become an Equity Partner and fully profit from the firm's success. The successful candidate will work both independently as an experienced Chartered Building Surveyor, but also manage a team of Chartered/Non-Chartered staff, technicians and sub-consultants working on both longstanding frameworks and one-off instructions. The role would also be to actively secure and manage additional instructions from both new and existing clients.

Key responsibilities:

  • Full duties of an experienced commercial Chartered Building Surveyor.
  • Managing a team.
  • Working as the client lead on projects and programmes.
  • Assisting in the management of the company as a whole, including finance, marketing and the like.

What you'll need to succeed

  • MRICS or FRICS
  • Experienced Chartered Building Surveyor with in-depth private sector experience or experience in commercial, education, industrial sectors.
  • Strong Knowledge of CDM and the Building Safety Act
  • Working knowledge of BIM would be preferable.
  • Proven experience of working at a senior management level.
  • IT proficient and competent in the use of industry/business related software and tools such as NBS, AutoCAD and SAGE,
  • Full UK driving licence
