The established financial planning arm of a national accountancy practice are looking at succession planning by recruiting an Adviser to join their team. Working with a long tenured Senior Adviser, they will transition their client book to you over an agreed time frame. With clients broadly in the 500k to 5m range, this is an excellent opportunity to work with a prestigious firm on an established client book.

Role

  • Working closely with the Senior Planner to transition the portfolio across to you.
  • Attending meetings to discuss how you will work with the clients and providing holistic financial planning.
  • Demonstrating a full understanding of more complex matters such as SIPP, SSAS, VCT, EIS, SIPP , SSAS and IHT
  • Managing portfolios broadly in the 500k to 5m space.
  • Understanding the needs of clients who are mainly business and entrepreneurs, but not exclusively so.
  • Undertaking corporate advice as required.
  • Collaborating with the other financial planners, paraplanners and accountants to facilitate business opportunities and to further grow your portfolio.

The candidate

  • Diploma Level 4 as a minimum, ideally working towards Chartered
  • Experience of working with HNW and UHNW clients
  • Developing and maintaining client relationships
