Sonic Summary

We are seeking Class 1 Drivers for our client in Preston, requiring a valid Class 1 License, CPC, and Taco.
Drivers will operate a refrigerated lorry, ensuring safe loading, unloading, and vehicle inspections.
The position offers a pay rate of £15.40 to £17.26 per hour, with night rates applicable between 02:00 and 05:00.
Candidates must have no more than three points on their license and no DR/DD offences, with a minimum of 2 years of driving experience preferred.
This role is temporary with the potential for a permanent position, expecting 10 to 60 hours of work per week.

Job description

We are currently looking for a number of Class 1 Drivers for our client based in Preston.

Duties

Operate and drive a Refrigerated lorry to deliver goods to designated locations.
Ensure the safe loading and unloading of cargo, securing it properly for transport.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery logs and vehicle maintenance reports.
Follow all traffic laws and company policies while driving, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, addressing any concerns or questions from clients.

Candidates must have a valid Class 1 License, CPC and Taco.

02:00-03:00 am start times.

Night rate paid between the hours of 0200 and 0500

Pay is

Days: £15.40 - £17.26 per hour.
