This public sector organisation is seeking a skilled Mechanical Clerk of Works / Supervisor to join their dynamic team and support around 60 different buildings.

Your new role
In this role, you will oversee and inspect mechanical engineering work to ensure compliance with specifications, standards, and regulations, as well as monitor the quality of materials and workmanship used in projects. In addition, you will be liaising with contractors, engineers, and project managers to address any issues or discrepancies. You will need to provide detailed reports and documentation on project progress and quality control. Also, you will need to ensure health and safety standards are adhered to on-site.

What you'll need to succeed
The ideal contractor will have a background in mechanical engineering / plumbing. Have a strong knowledge of mechanical systems, materials, and construction methods. Have the ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
