Your new role

As the Purchase Ledger Clerk, you will play a crucial role in managing the purchase ledger, ensuring that all transactions are accurately recorded and processed in a timely manner. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Duties of the role

  • Process invoices, reconciling delivery notes to invoices received and purchase orders
  • Maintain Goods-in record sheets,
  • Maintain price lists, check order and invoice prices against lists
  • Set up new supplier accounts and maintain existing account details within the purchase ledger,
  • Audit orders raised and train Purchasers on use of Sage
  • Monthly reconciliation of supplier statements

What you'll need 

To be successful for this role, you will need to have worked in a similar role previously. Experience of working on Sage is essential, with the ability to use Excel.
