We are currently seeking an experienced and driven Regional Digital Delivery Lead on behalf of our client, a leading infrastructure and water sector design and build organisation. This is a hybrid role, based out of their Preston office.

This opportunity is ideal for a candidate with a solid background in digital transformation within engineering or infrastructure sectors, who is passionate about embedding digital excellence across projects and regional frameworks.
Â
The RoleÂ
Reporting directly to the Head of Delivery, the Regional Digital Delivery Lead will be instrumental in driving the digital agenda across the region. You will provide leadership, guidance and hands-on support in the integration of digital delivery practices and systems across engineering and operational functions.

Key responsibilities include:
Â

Leading the adoption and implementation of core digital tools and initiatives across project teams

Aligning engineering and operational practices to ensure data is effectively leveraged from project initiation to handover

Championing change management efforts to embed digital delivery as business-as-usual

Supporting the digital delivery toolbox maturity matrix to meet framework and business-level targets

Acting as a regional expert and champion for digital initiatives; hosting webinars, offering training and being a key point of contact

Collaborating closely with functional teams, supply chain, and clients to ensure streamlined data exchange and reduce duplication

Driving project compliance with digital strategy and stage gate delivery requirements

Building and supporting a regional community for knowledge-sharing across disciplines such as commissioning, engineering, SHEQ

Identifying and addressing regional pain points, feeding insights into the central team for solution development

Monitoring and reporting on digital success at project and regional levels

About YouÂ
Technical Competencies:
Â

Proven experience in change management and delivering digital transformation strategies
-
Knowledge of ISO 19650 standards and information management protocols
-
Understanding of engineering design and construction
Â
Behavioural Competencies:
Â

Strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels

Self-driven and eager to develop expertise across diverse digital tools and processes
Â
Experience & Qualifications:
Â
-
Demonstrated experience leading digital initiatives including surveying, 3D modelling, field management, and asset handover

Previous experience as a Change Manager on large-scale projects or frameworks
-
Postgraduate qualification in an Engineering or Operational discipline (desirable)

Professional membership and individual BIM certification (e.g. ISO19650 or BS1192) an advantage
