Are you a psychology graduate looking to build hands-on experience in a school setting?We're looking for a motivated and compassionate Special Needs Teaching Assistant to join our team and support children with a range of special educational needs.

This is a fantastic opportunity if you're considering a future in educational psychology, clinical psychology, or teaching.

The Role:
  • Support pupils with additional needs, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and communication difficulties

  • Work 1:1 and in small groups to help children access learning and develop social/emotional skills

  • Collaborate with SENCOs, therapists, and teachers to deliver tailored support based on EHCPs

  • Contribute to a positive, nurturing environment that supports each child's well-being

  • Assist with emotional regulation, classroom transitions, and therapeutic interventions

We're Looking For:
  • Psychology graduates (or related fields) with a strong interest in child development or SEN

  • A calm, patient and empathetic approach

  • Experience working with children/young people in any capacity is desirable

  • A genuine passion for supporting pupils with additional needs

  • Willingness to learn and undertake training (e.g. safeguarding, behaviour management)

  • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
