BAE Systems is seeking an experienced Solutions Architect with a day rate of £497 PAYE or £713 Umbrella inside IR35 for a 12-month remote position in the UK.
The role involves designing and delivering secure and scalable solutions for complex defence and national security programmes.
Candidates should have proven experience in solutions or technical architecture, along with strong knowledge of cloud, infrastructure, and software systems.
An understanding of secure and scalable system design is essential, and familiarity with MOD or defence frameworks is preferred.
Applicants must also be prepared to undergo SC Clearance as part of the hiring process.

Design end-to-end technical solutions for complex systems.
Engage with stakeholders to understand and translate requirements.
Lead architecture across the project lifecycle.
Ensure solutions meet performance, security, and compliance needs.
Guide and mentor technical teams.

Skills & Experience

Proven experience in solutions or technical architecture.
Strong knowledge of cloud, infrastructure, and software systems.
Understanding of secure and scalable system design.
Familiarity with MOD or defence frameworks preferred.
