Role: IT Support Engineer
Location: Preston, Lancashire
Salary: 26,000 - 32,000 DOE

We are looking for an enthusiastic 1st/2nd Line IT Engineer to join our clients growing team in Preston. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support to internal users. From handling day-to-day support requests to getting involved in project work and system improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be the first point of contact for staff with technical issues
  • Be willing to help out and contribute to the build of hardware
  • Respond to queries via phone, email and other channels
  • Diagnose technical issues and provide solutions
  • Provide customer service and liaise with other departments


Skills and Requirements:

  • Able to support users at a 1st/2nd line base
  • Good knowledge of computer hardware and software
  • Experience with Windows and/or Mac operating systems
  • Laptop, PC, printer support/troubleshooting
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Office 365, Intune, Active Directory, Servers, Security
  • Driving Licence and own vehicle
