Design Technology Teacher

Vision for Education are recruiting for a Teacher of Design Technology for a secondary school based in Preston to start May 2025. 

The role

This role will start May 2025 and have no set end date. 

The successful candidate will have Qualified Teacher Status in the UK and experience of teaching Design Technology at KS3 and KS4 level.  Ideally the school would like a specialist in Resistant Materials, however the school would consider applications of qualified teachers from other Design Technology areas.

This school in Preston is situated outside the city centre and is easily accessible by car and public transport. The school prides itself with engaging and high level teaching where children can reach their full potential.  

Requirements

To be considered for the Design Technology role you must:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

• Have some knowledge or previous experience of Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4)

• Be adaptable and flexible

• Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of school staff
