Assistant Town Planner - Preston or Manchester £25,000+ | Flexible Sector Focus | Clear Chartership Pathway

Are you early in your planning career and looking for a role that offers exposure to a wide variety of exciting and meaningful projects? A highly respected, independent planning consultancy is looking to bring an Assistant Town Planner on board to support a sudden and significant increase in workload. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual to grow within a collaborative and supportive environment.

Location: Ideally based in Preston, but we can accommodate the right candidate in Manchester, provided you're able to travel to Preston one day per week. Hybrid working is supported.

The Opportunity:You'll be joining a well-established and growing team that advises on a diverse portfolio of developments - from sustainable energy and residential schemes to commercial and mixed-use projects. The organisation works across sectors including renewables (solar, wind, EfW), affordable housing, care schemes, commercial developments, and more.

You will be given the opportunity to explore your interests by specialising in a sector of your choice, while also being encouraged to build a well-rounded skillset through involvement in a variety of project types.
