Town Planner - Preston - Up to 38,000 + Benefits

We're working exclusively with a leading independent planning consultancy based in Preston, known for delivering high-quality planning advice across a broad range of sectors including residential, commercial, and strategic land. Due to continued growth, they're looking to add a talented Town Planner to their dynamic and collaborative team.

What you'll be doing:

  • Preparing planning applications, appeals, and development appraisals

  • Undertaking research and site assessments

  • Liaising with clients, local authorities, and stakeholders

  • Supporting senior planners and directors on complex projects

  • Playing a key role in shaping planning strategies for a diverse portfolio



About you:

  • Ideally 1-3 years' experience in a planning role (public or private sector)

  • RTPI accredited degree or equivalent

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • A proactive, solution-focused mindset

  • A genuine interest in the planning system and how it shapes communities
