Title: Housing Litigation Solicitor

Locations: Manchester City Centre or Lancashire

Are you a qualified Solicitor (or CILEX equivalent) with experience in social housing litigation looking for an opportunity within a collaborative, supportive and professional team? If so, we are working with a market-leading Legal 500 firm that can offer high-quality work and ensure a good work-life balance.

The Opportunity:

In this role, you will be handling a diverse caseload of social housing tenancy and leasehold disputes. Your caseload will include anti-social behaviour, housing management matters and some residential leasehold cases as well as more complex cases.

You will attend Court hearings representing clients in various matters including applications, committal hearings, directions and case management hearings with a view to develop the necessary skills to conduct trials. 

From the outset, your role will be geared towards progression and professional development within the firm's comprehensive career framework.   

Required Experience: 

You will need to meet the following requirements: 

  • You must be a qualified solicitor or CILEX equivalent possessing civil rights of audience
  • You must have prior experience working within social housing litigation
