Our client are well known for delivering high-quality construction projects that enhance the healthcare and education sectors. They are committed to transforming communities by building successful projects. They are now seeking a dedicated and experiencedConstruction Site Managerto lead the healthcare education projects they have, ensuring their successful delivery from start to finish. Projects are based in and around the Preston and Lancashire area and will vary in size.

Key Responsibilities of the Site Manager:

  • Oversee and manage all aspects of healthcare education construction projects on-site, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Coordinate the activities of subcontractors, suppliers, and staff to ensure smooth operations and adherence to project timelines.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, safety regulations, and healthcare-specific guidelines.
  • Monitor and manage the day-to-day activities of the construction site, including site safety, quality control, and workforce management.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure the project is progressing as planned.
  • Act as the primary point of contact between the client, project stakeholders, and subcontractors.
  • Prepare and present progress reports, addressing any potential risks, delays, or issues promptly.
  • Ensure that all work is performed safely, in line with the company's health and safety policies.

Site Manager Qualifications & Experience:

  • Proven experience as a Construction Site Manager, with a focus on healthcare or education-related projects.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare facility requirements and educational building standards.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction processes, project management, and safety regulations.
  • Experience working with architects, engineers, and other construction professionals to deliver complex projects.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and teams while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid) are highly desirable.
  • Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred but not essential.
