REED/LTA are seeking an experienced KS1 Teacher to join a vibrant primary school in the South Ribble area for a position that starts in September and has the potential to become permanent for the right candidate. This role is ideal for a teacher who is ready to engage and inspire young minds in a supportive and dynamic environment.

The pay for the role will be £168.80 to £215.68 depending on experience. 

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and educational lessons that meet the curriculum standards for KS1.
  • Assess and record students' progress, preparing reports and communicating with parents to support student development.
  • Create a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment that fosters learning and development.
  • Collaborate with other teaching staff to enhance the educational environment and share best practices.
  • Participate in school events, activities, and professional development opportunities.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
  • Proven experience in teaching KS1 or a similar educational setting.
  • Strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum and effective teaching methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • A clear, enhanced DBS on the update service is required.
