HLTA, preston (and surrounding areas)
We are looking for a confident, capable HLTA to join our specialist setting supporting pupils with SEMH and SEND needs.
You'll play a key role in the classroom - supporting learning, leading small groups, and stepping in for teacher cover when needed. You'll work closely with teachers, pastoral staff, and therapists to help pupils regulate, re-engage, and make progress.
Our pupils may present with challenging behaviours or complex emotional needs, but with the right support, they thrive. Your presence, consistency and calm will make a difference every single day.
What we're looking for:

HLTA qualification (or equivalent experience)

Strong classroom presence and confidence to lead learning

Understanding of SEMH/SEND or experience in similar settings

Ability to stay calm under pressure and build positive relationships
