Britannia Personnel Group is recruiting on behalf of a leading medico-legal agency for a HCPC-registered Clinical Psychologist to join their panel of expert witnesses.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced clinical psychologist to undertake face-to-face assessments and prepare expert witness reports for medico-legal cases, including personal injury, clinical negligence, and other litigation matters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct face-to-face psychological assessments with clients referred for medico-legal purposes
- Prepare clear, accurate, and impartial expert witness reports in line with court standards
- Work within agreed deadlines and comply with relevant legal and professional requirements
- Collaborate with the agency and instructing solicitors as required
- Undertake work within your allocated region (minimising travel) based on your location
Requirements:
- HCPC registration as a Clinical Psychologist (essential)
- Proven post-qualification experience in psychological assessment and report writing
- Previous medico-legal or expert witness experience desirable (training can be provided)
- Excellent written communication and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and manage case deadlines
- Willingness to conduct face-to-face assessments within your allocated region
