Clinical Psychologist – Expert Witness

Location: Various UK regions (allocated based on candidate location)

Britannia Personnel Group is recruiting on behalf of a leading medico-legal agency for a HCPC-registered Clinical Psychologist to join their panel of expert witnesses.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced clinical psychologist to undertake face-to-face assessments and prepare expert witness reports for medico-legal cases, including personal injury, clinical negligence, and other litigation matters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct face-to-face psychological assessments with clients referred for medico-legal purposes
  • Prepare clear, accurate, and impartial expert witness reports in line with court standards
  • Work within agreed deadlines and comply with relevant legal and professional requirements
  • Collaborate with the agency and instructing solicitors as required
  • Undertake work within your allocated region (minimising travel) based on your location

Requirements:

  • HCPC registration as a Clinical Psychologist (essential)
  • Proven post-qualification experience in psychological assessment and report writing
  • Previous medico-legal or expert witness experience desirable (training can be provided)
  • Excellent written communication and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage case deadlines
  • Willingness to conduct face-to-face assessments within your allocated region
