We're recruiting on behalf of a young, ambitious construction consultancy in Preston that's rewriting the rulebook-and they're looking for an Associate Director (Quantity Surveyor) to help drive their next phase of growth.
This isn't about slotting into a rigid corporate structure. This is about stepping into a key leadership role at a business that's small enough for you to make real impact, who are already building a portfolio that punches well above its weight.

What you'll be doing:
- Leading cost consultancy services across a variety of design-led, high-quality projects
- Acting as a trusted advisor to clients-commercially sharp and solution-focused
- Mentoring and developing junior talent (and helping grow the QS team from the ground up)
- Playing a hands-on role in shaping business strategy, processes, and culture
- Working closely with the founders on growth, innovation, and long-term vision
What you bring:
- MRICS with solid experience in consultancy-side Quantity Surveying
- A portfolio that shows you can handle complex, multi-sector projects
- Entrepreneurial energy-you're comfortable with autonomy, thrive on responsibility, and love making things happen
