Job Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee all aspects of cost management for construction projects.

  • Prepare and analyze project budgets and estimates.

  • Conduct cost analysis and financial forecasts.

  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with contractors and suppliers.

  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory standards.

  • Monitor project progress and report on financial performance.

  • Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders.

Person Specifications
Must Have:

  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor.

  • Strong understanding of construction processes and standards.

  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills.

  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Eligibility to work in the UK.

  • Valid driving licence.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience working with local government or public sector projects.

  • Familiarity with project management software.

  • Membership in a relevant professional body.
