The Role - Finance AssistantWorking closely with the experienced Management Accountant (who also leads the team), you’ll take ownership of transactional finance duties while learning the ropes and gradually increasing your responsibilities as part of the department’s long-term succession planning.
Key Responsibilities:

Supporting with day-to-day finance administration

Processing invoices and maintaining accurate records

Assisting with bank reconciliations and payment runs

Supporting month-end tasks and reporting

Working on ad-hoc finance projects with the wider team

Learning from experienced colleagues to grow into more advanced responsibilities

Someone who is either already studying or keen to start studying AAT, with long-term ambitions to progress into higher qualifications (CIMA/ACCA)

A good standard of education and a clear commitment to self-development

Some finance experience (either in a previous role or through education) is essential

A proactive, positive attitude with the willingness to learn and ask questions

Happy to work in the office full-time to benefit from on-the-job training and mentoring

Full study support (AAT and onward to CIMA or ACCA)
