Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking a talented teacher of Geography to join a secondary school in Preston.
This is a full-time temporary teaching role starting ASAP and continuing for the remainder of the summer term. The school has aspirations to recruit a permanent teacher for a September 2025 start, presenting a potential opportunity for the temporary role to become permanent.
The Role
- Teacher of Geography
- Five days a week, typically 8:15 am to 3:30 pm
- Delivery of engaging Geography lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, fostering an understanding of physical and human geography.
- Experience of teaching GCSE Geography is advantageous.
- The school welcomes applications from both Early Career Teachers and experienced QTS teachers.
- Excellent resources and facilities to support effective Geography teaching and learning, including fieldwork opportunities.
- Strong community links and benefits from support within an established academy trust.
- Easily accessible via public transport links within Preston.

- Hold QTS Status or QTLS
- This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable), and professional references checks.
