Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking a talented teacher of Geography to join a secondary school in Preston.

This is a full-time temporary teaching role starting ASAP and continuing for the remainder of the summer term. The school has aspirations to recruit a permanent teacher for a September 2025 start, presenting a potential opportunity for the temporary role to become permanent.

The Role

  • Teacher of Geography
  • Five days a week, typically 8:15 am to 3:30 pm
  • Delivery of engaging Geography lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, fostering an understanding of physical and human geography.
  • Experience of teaching GCSE Geography is advantageous.
  • The school welcomes applications from both Early Career Teachers and experienced QTS teachers.
  • Excellent resources and facilities to support effective Geography teaching and learning, including fieldwork opportunities.
  • Strong community links and benefits from support within an established academy trust.
  • Easily accessible via public transport links within Preston.
