Support Worker (Forensic)

Belmont Recruitment are currently working with a client in the Preston area who are currently seeking Support Workers who have prior experience of working with children and adults with forensic histories.

The services are supported living services, which work with a range of clients including; Personality Disorder, mild LD, Substance Misuse (Alcohol and Cannabis), previous trauma and Ex-Offenders,

The position will include supporting clients both in residential and community settings, you will be working with the clients to provide them with assistance with day to day activities where needed, also attending hobbies and interests with them in the local area. Some of the more popular hobbies of service users include; Fishing, Gaming, Cycling, Football, Gym, Arts and Crafts and Music.

We currently require a number of candidates for the service, to work on different shifts - hours are full time, and offer uncapped overtime where requested, suitable candidates need to very flexible and broad minded for the relief role. You will also need to be prepared to work across outreach, and fixed services and be able to adapt to the client group you are supporting.

To be considered for this position you must;

• Have an indate DBS which is on the update service, and be able to provide a photo/scan of the hardcopy.
• Be a UK Citizen/not have any restrictions to your Visa in terms of how many hours you can work.
• Have previous experiene of working with candidates (ideally children and adults) who have forensic backgrounds.
• Be flexible in approach to shift patterns.

Days: Monday - Sunday
Contract: Ongoing
Salary: 15.79 per hour.
