Are you a hands-on Site Manager with a strong track record in planned maintenance or retrofit works? Do you take pride in delivering safe, high-quality projects with a focus on excellent resident experience?

Our client a leading social housing contractor is known for delivering programmes on time, to a high standard, and with outstanding customer care. Due to continued growth, theyre now seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead day-to-day operations across multiple retrofit and planned works schemes in the Northwest.

The Role

Youll be responsible for managing the site delivery of energy efficiency improvements, planned maintenance, and associated works, ensuring safety, quality, and communication are always prioritised. Working closely with Project Managers, subcontractors, and residents, youll make sure each project runs smoothly from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily site activities, ensuring works are delivered on time and to specification

  • Lead site-based teams and subcontractors, promoting a safe and efficient working environment

  • Carry out quality checks, toolbox talks, and health & safety inspections

  • Liaise with residents to provide updates, manage expectations, and handle queries professionally

  • Coordinate with client representatives, suppliers, and internal teams

  • Maintain accurate site records, reporting progress and highlighting any issues or risks

What Were Looking For
  • Experience as a Site Manager within social housing, refurbishment, or retrofit projects

  • Excellent understanding of health & safety, site protocols, and contractor management

  • Strong interpersonal skills and a resident-focused approach

  • SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid qualifications (essential)

  • Knowledge of PAS 2035 and retrofit standards (desirable but not essential)

  • Ability to manage multiple trades and ensure smooth site coordination
