A welcoming and well-resourced primary school in Preston is currently seeking an experienced Level?3 Early Years Teaching Assistant to support young learners in a long-term role. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about giving children the best possible start to their education.

• You're eager to introduce creative ideas that spark curiosity and support children's development

• You hold a Level?3 Early Years qualification (or higher) and have recent nursery or EYFS classroom experience

• You're keen to join a supportive, enthusiastic staff team for the long term

• You meet the legal right-to-work requirements in the UK and can start as soon as possible

• Plan and lead engaging, play-based activities for Early Years children

• Support key children's progress, maintaining accurate learning journals in line with EYFS

• Encourage language, social, and self-care skills both indoors and outdoors

• Communicate effectively with parents, carers, and colleagues about pupil development

• Champion positive behaviour and model good manners and hygiene

• Level?3 Early Years qualification (e.g., CACHE, NVQ, or equivalent)

• Recent childcare or EYFS classroom experience (two professional references required)

• Enhanced Child DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

• Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework

• Eligibility to work in the UK
