A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and proactive SEN Teaching Assistant to join a well-established SEN school in Preston. This is a full-time position starting in September, working Monday to Friday during term time.

About the Role:

As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will support pupils with a range of needs including autism, ADHD, learning difficulties, and sensory or physical needs. You will help create a positive and inclusive learning environment where every child can thrive.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:
  • Providing 1:1 and small group support

  • Assisting with classroom activities and behaviour management

  • Helping to implement education and care plans

  • Supporting students with personal development and, where required, personal care

  • Building positive, trusting relationships with pupils and staff

Who We're Looking For:

We welcome applications from individuals with a variety of backgrounds, including:

  • Previous experience as a Care Worker, Teaching Assistant, or Support Worker

  • Personal experience supporting someone with SEN
