The ideal candidate will bring expertise in procurement practices and play a key role in sourcing, supplier management, and procurement strategy deployment. Skills

At least 5 years of experience in a procurement environment.
Strong knowledge of sourcing processes, contracting, financial awareness, and supplier management.
Proven ability to negotiate complex contracts and work with stakeholders at all levels.
A proactive problem solver with a focus on service improvements and efficiencies.
Excellent communication, influencing, and collaborative skills.
Ability to manage and lead a team, demonstrating leadership behaviours.

The Job

Lead the sourcing and contracting process for assigned category suppliers.
Proactively manage supplier performance, fostering strong relationships and a performance-driven culture.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure procurement solutions align with business needs.
Use data analytics to assess supplier performance and identify cost-saving opportunities.
Identify and manage category risks, ensuring compliance with governance and assurance activities.
Support change and transformation projects as required.
Manage the day-to-day support for category queries, liaising with preferred suppliers
