Fabrication Grinding Operative - Day Shift


An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Fabrication Grinding Operative to join a busy manufacturing site working on the day shift. The successful candidate will play a key role within the fabrication team, ensuring high standards of quality and safety while supporting improvements to production processes.

This role would suit someone with a hands-on, practical background-possibly in engineering, metalwork, or manufacturing-who is keen to develop their skills in fabrication and welding. It's ideal for a team player with a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and a proactive approach to health and safety.
Key Responsibilities


* Grind and dress welded parts to prepare for further welding or finishing
* Prepare carcasses for painting through grinding and dressing
* Assist welders in the assembly and fabrication of carcasses
* Support finishing, packing, and shipping of finished goods
* Contribute to sub-assembly tasks, including nut-setting and stud welding
