Integra Education is dedicated to supporting Looked After Children (LAC), students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), and young people facing Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges or those excluded from mainstream education. As many of our learners are working below age-related expectations, experience in this field is highly beneficial.
We are currently recruiting for an experienced teacher or tutor to provide English & Maths tuition to a Year 12 pupil in Preston (PR1) area.
This role will consist of preparing and delivering English and Maths GCSE lessons in accordance with the national curriculum.
This role is temporary ongoing with the option to tutor more than one pupil, it is set around your preferred locations and availability. This role begins with 5 hours per week and gradually grow to 12 hours, with the opportunity to take on additional hours.
About the role:
- Able to deliver English and Maths lessons – ideally up to GCSE
- Great understanding of the national curriculum
- Personalising lessons to the pupils needs and requirements
- Provide direct questions, immediate feedback and targeted support
- Help students build confidence in their abilities and develop a greater love for learning.

What do you need?
- Previous tuition experience in the UK
- Previous SEMH experience is essential
- Demonstrated ability to plan and deliver lessons in line with the national curriculum
- Strong subject knowledge of English & Maths
- Ability to tailor lessons to the individual pupil needs
