Master Technician / Vehicle Technician

£37,600 OTE £44,000

Manufacturer owned dealership
Monday to Friday (1 in 2 Saturdays 8.30am - 12noon)
Company car scheme - up to two vehicles
Highly competitive performance bonus
Additional £91 per month salary uplift for MOT qualified technicians
Up to 7 % Employer Pension Contribution
Annual Leave - 22 days increasing to 26 with continued service, plus bank holidays

We're on the lookout for a skilled Master Technician / Vehicle Technician to join a friendly, professional team at a busy site in Preston.

The Job: Master Technician

Diagnose complex symptoms across the whole range of vehicle systems, as well as conduct routine service & repairs
Observe, recognise and report on vehicle or component defects or symptoms of impending failure.
Examine vehicles completely and report orally or in writing upon the vehicles condition, safety and reliability and performance (MOT)
Conduct thorough inspections of vehicle components to assess wear, damage, or required replacements
Provide expert technical advice to customers when necessary, ensuring clear and professional communication
Maintain exceptional customer service standards, fostering trust that leads to repeat business and referrals
Collaborate effectively with the service reception team and workshop control for seamless workflow and customer satisfaction

Job Experience: Master Technician

NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent qualification and a Master Technician qualification
Thorough understanding of vehicle safety standards and guidelines
Strong problem-solving skills, ensuring accuracy in all aspects of work Must have a Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
